What is Lemonade Day?
Lemonade Day is a free, state-wide program that teaches kids how to start, own, and run their very own lemonade stand. It’s more than just making lemonade — it’s about inspiring the next generation of business leaders, social advocates, and community members. Through this experience, kids learn the basics of entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and responsibility — all while having fun!
Each year on the first Saturday of May, Synergy Bank hosts Lemonade Day in Terrebonne, Lafourche, Pointe Coupee, East Baton Rouge, and West Baton Rouge Parishes.
Registration Details
Lemonade Day 2026 registration will be open April 1-30. Click “Register here” during those dates to register.
The first 125 kids to register in each of the Bayou Region and Capital Region will receive a free Lemonade Day kit, which includes helpful tools to set them up for success. The kit includes a child’s apron, zipper money bag, financial literacy workbook, powered lemonade mix, cups, and other fun items.
The items are provided by Synergy Bank and its Lemonade Day Partners Raising Cane’s, Rouses, Terrebonne Parish Library, Lafourche Parish Library, and Pointe Coupee Chamber of Commerce.
Registered participants will automatically be entered to win random prizes throughout Lemonade Day, including gift cards from Synergy Bank and Rouses and Raising Cane’s gift baskets.
Best Decorated Stand Contest
Participants can also enter to win this year’s Best Decorated Stand contest. Judges will award one stand in the Bayou Region and one stand in the Capital Region the title of Best Decorated Stand. The winners will receive a prize package from Synergy Bank and Lemonade Day Partners.
Entry into the Best Decorated Stand contest takes place on Synergy Bank’s Facebook page, so be sure to follow us at facebook.com/synergybank.
