Synergy Bank hosted a financial literacy workshop for local Girl Scouts to earn their budget badges. Some of the lessons they learned included the difference between needs and wants, how banks work, how to budget, and how to compare options when shopping. The scouts also took a special tour of the bank where they learned about counting money, working the drive up, and more. The girls also enjoyed a photo backdrop, snacks, and a personalized goody bag filled with treats, Synergy coin purse, and their new Budget Badge. We’re proud of these future leaders!
